Lona Logan, founder of Inertia Photography, is a passionate photographer and concept artist whose work transcends the ordinary, capturing the resilience and soul of life’s simplest moments. Originally from Australia, Lona spent a transformative decade in Hyderabad, India, where she immersed herself in the vibrant culture, colors, and traditions that now shape her unique artistic perspective. Her photography is a profound exploration of the beauty in the mundane, a perspective she calls Yeh Mera Bharat (“This is My India”).

Lona’s journey began with street photography and portraiture in India, where she honed her craft documenting everyday life and extraordinary celebrations. Her work evolved into a professional career that includes art photography, corporate commissions, event coverage, and private family shoots. She has curated and participated in over 20 exhibitions, including two acclaimed solo shows in Hyderabad titled Yeh Mera Bharat. Her ability to capture India’s essence in its complexity and simplicity has earned her a place in prominent galleries and exhibitions across India, such as Kalakriti Art Gallery and Muse Art Gallery.

Now based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Lona continues her artistic journey, blending her Indian inspirations with her Australian roots. Her clients include local organizations like Radio Blue Mountains, Kindlehill School, and Fusion Boutique, as well as international corporations and publications. Lona’s work has been featured in publications such as Haze Magazine, Blue Mountains Gazette, Sydney Morning Herald, Times of India, and Asian Photography Magazine.
