Day Gallery specialises in Australian historical pictorial works from pre federation -generally 1800-1900. They endeavour to create an overall visual document of the Australian past. In unison they offer all mediums of creativity from working contemporary artists. This is aimed at documenting current visual aesthetics, and social and environmental values.
