Artist and Curator Talks: Black & Blue 2 | Blue Mountains Cultural Centre

SATURDAY 29 AUGUST, 10.30AM
Local historian and poet John Low joins Black & Blue 2 curator and artist Faye Wilson, poets Michelle Rickerby and Brendan Doyle and artist Tohby Riddle for a walk around the gallery to discuss the stories that inspired this exhibition. Black & Blue 2 brings together over 23 Blue Mountains artists and writers to shine a light on the darkest corners of Blue Mountains history.

SATURDAY 29 AUGUST, 1PM
Artist and Mount Victoria Museum president Tim K Jones and ‘Black & Blue 2’ curator and artist Faye Wilson will guide you on a historical trail through the exhibition. Tim offers a unique perspective on the museum displays on loan from the Mount Victoria Museum, telling the stories behind the artefacts while Faye will fill you in on the rich field of cultural collaboration resulting from the many artists and writers brought together for ‘Black & Blue 2.’

Free with Gallery entry ticket.
RSVP at ccreception@bmcc.nsw.gov.au. Social distancing measures will be implemented.
